Episode 13 – Hiding Attracts Greed
第十三回--此地無銀
As soon as Po made up his mind, he sends out three fierce attacks to Shin. Shin has just recovered and scruples to fight Po so he can barely resist Po’s attack from beginning. Now, his sword is heavily hit by Po and he has to retreat swiftly to unload the harmful energy transmitted from the sword. Po, at same time, sends four forceful thrusts to the “plum” ”orchid” ”bamboo” ”chrysanthemum” four paints on east wall. After four big bangs, those paints rend at once. Three shallow holes occurred behind three of those while a whole piece of wall collapsed behind the “bamboo” paint. And, a secret cell appears there!
童博心念一定,立刻向童心猛攻三招,童心重傷初癒又心有顧忌,本來就只可勉強擋住他招式,這時被童博最後一招打在劍上,不得不向後疾退卸去勁力以免受傷,童博則趁此空檔,突然向東壁上”梅蘭竹菊”四幅畫全力刺岀,砰砰砰砰四聲巨響,那四幅畫登時碎裂,其中三幅畫後出現一個淺坑,但竹畫的後面卻是一整塊牆版崩落,後面出現一個暗格!
Feng:(all joyful face) That’s it! Darn you old fox Jin! Hides the treasure in the guesting hall!
鳳:(滿臉喜色)在這裡啦!!好個狡猾的金老頭,居然把至寶藏大廳!!
Jin’s shocked while Po has picked a cloth wrapped box out of the cell with his sword. A few streams of poisonous liquid shot out from the cell but they certainly cannot touch Po, who’s been already prepared. In this emergency, Shin has no alternative but sends out a full power slash to Po’s leg. Po, whose eyebrows raise, turns back and stabs toward Shin rapidly. Shin sees a layer of white aurora emerged from the dragon sword and some rainbow color shines flows on the dragon-shaped carving of the sword. So, he doesn’t dare to neglect it and draws his sword back to block Po’s attack with all his strength. However, after a sharp and loud clank, Shin’s sword breaks into three parts once it touches the apex of the dragon sword. Shin dodges immediately but his shoulder is still cut. Although his injure is not bad, he has no weapon anymore when Po attacks him once again. Just in time, he hears Ling’s voice:
金老爺臉色大變,童博已用劍把暗格內用布包著的一個盒子挑了出來,暗格內射岀幾股毒汁,但當然傷不到早有防備的童博,童心情急之下,以十成功力劈向童博大腿,童博突然雙眉一軒,迴身向童心一劍刺岀,童心看到神龍劍上泛起一陣白光,而那龍形彫刻上隱隱有彩輝流動,不敢怠慢,立刻收招以全力檔格,只聽得清脆的鏘啷一聲,童心手中之劍竟在一接觸神龍劍鋒時就斷成了三截,他連忙閃避,肩頭還是被劃傷,雖然傷勢不重,可當童博再回身攻來,他已無劍可檔,正在危急時,突然聽到金靈的聲音:
Ling:(shouts) Shin, catch this!
靈:(大喊)童心,接著!!
Shin turns his head back and sees a strand of blue light flies to him. Ling actually throws the Frozen-cyan to him! Once catched it, he blocks the attack from Po with it instantly. As two sword encounter each other, Shin feels his whole body is shaken and a enormous force comes from the sword strikes him. He resists the force with all his energy and eventually is not injured by that force. And, that Frozen-cyan, which shines beautiful blue, is not broken, either.
童心回頭一瞥,只見一道碧光向自己飛來,金靈竟把凝碧劍拋給了他,他接住後即刻將劍檔在身前,當兩劍相碰,童心覺得全身一震,一股大力從劍上傳來,他運起全身功力抵抗,總算沒有吐血受傷,而手中碧芒粲然的凝碧劍,也終究並未斷裂
Feng, just now, suddenly pushes Mr.Jin to Ling and runs to the inner part of the building. Po forces Shin away with a slash then follows her as well. Shin hesitates for a second yet goes after them because he thought Mr.Jin should be alright. Unexpectly, as soon as Shin leaves the hall, he hears many people shout: “Fire!” ”Help!” .It is cunning Feng who set on fire with lantern and torch everywhere while escaping. Since caught Mr.Jin, Feng’s gone around the fort to ascertain the way out while used Mr.Jin as a hostage to order the servents of all places to turn off the defensive mechanism then has paralyzed them. Therefore, she flees very fast and has already vanished now.
飛天鳳此時突然把金老爺往金靈身上一推,向後進奔去,童博一劍逼開追來的童心,也跟了過去,童心猶豫了一下,認為金老爺應該沒事,便追著他們,沒想到一出去就聽得到處一片”走水啦””救火阿”之聲, 卻是狡猾的飛天鳳一面逃,一面用各處用來照明的燈籠火把放火,她之前在抓住金老爺後,先帶著他繞了堡內一圈,逼家丁解開所有機關然後點暈他們,並摸清了離去之路,所以此刻逃的極快,一下就沒了蹤影
Shin sees servents, who is not paralyzed, are doing their best to fight fire and thinks he should rescue Mr.Jin and other weak people out. So, he returns to the hall without delay. However, he hears Ling’s cry before entering there.
童心見剩下的一些家丁拼命救火,覺得先救金老爺和其他老弱婦孺出去比較重要,便立刻回大廳,但還沒進去,就聽到金靈的哭聲
Ling:(cries loudly) Dad....Dad.....!!
靈:(哭叫)爹........爹........!!
As soon as Shin sees Ling is holding Mr.Jin and crying, he promptly approaches them and check Mr.Jin. Shin finds Mr.Jin’s carotid has no pulse anymore then sees a steel needle stuck into the fatal point on the back of his neck. Poor Mr.Jin, who possess no martial art and is wounded, should be dead soon after hit by needle.
童心一見金靈抱著金老爺痛哭,趕緊靠過去查看,他按了下金老爺的頸脈,發現已無跳動,然後就見到一根鋼針插在金老爺後頸要穴上,身無武功又已受傷的金老爺,只怕是中針之後馬上就死亡了
Shin:(sorrow voice) Miss Ling...your father...he has gone.....
心:(沉痛的聲音)靈姑娘...令尊...令尊已逝世了....
Ling:(cries and shouts) No! He’s not dead! He is a old fox. He is faking it! (shakes Mr.Jin) Dad, the scums’ve gone and you can get up now!
靈:(哭叫)不!爹沒有死!他是個老狐狸!他只是裝死!(搖著金老爺)爹!惡人已走了,你可以起來了!
Shin puts one hand on Ling’s shoulder and is about to comfort her. Yet, a thought flashes through his mind.
童心一手扶著金靈肩頭,正想勸慰她,卻驀然想起一事
Shin:(anxiously) Miss Ling, where is your mother? Do you have other family?
心:(急)靈姑娘,你娘呢?你還有其他家人嗎?
Ling woodens for a while then puts down Mr.Jin and rushes to the inner part of the building. Shin follows her while holding the Frozen-cyan in his hand. They see servants are fighting fire in a flurry all the way. There are originally many fire extinguishing mechanism in Wu-yin fort but they couldn’t be activated for most chief servant is paralyzed. Furthermore, some unsealed flame-shooting mechanisms also worsen the fire. Shin feels worried very much but is not able to help. Fortunately, for sparing time, Feng hasn’t intruded the main bedrooms and just ordered servants to turn off the defensive mechanism here. So, there is still someone could operate the fire extinguishing to keep here from burning. Ling rushes into her mother’s bedrooom directly and sees Mrs.Jin sits beside the table alone. As Mrs.Jin finds Ling, she runs to her and holds her.
金靈呆了片刻,突然放下金老爺,向內進疾衝而去,童心拿著凝碧劍緊跟在後,一路上只見到家丁們慌亂地救火,本來無銀堡有許多救火用的機關,但因大部分院落的主管家人都被打傷,金老爺又不在,以致不但救火機關無法完全啟動,一些未能封閉的火焰機關更助長了火勢,童心眉頭深鎖卻是愛莫能助,幸好飛天鳳為了省時,只是叫人止了主內堂防衛機關,並未侵入,因此這裏的救火機關尚有人能啟動,未遭火焚,金靈直衝而入,到了母親居室,只見金夫人獨自坐在桌旁,她一回頭見到金靈,立刻迎向前抱住了她
Mrs.Jin:(sobbing) Ling...Ling...It’s blessed that you’re alright.
金夫人:(泣)靈兒....靈兒....你沒事就好
Ling:(holds mother and is weeping) Mom...how come are you alone? Where are Hua? And other servant-girls?
靈:(抱著母親流淚)娘......怎麼只有您一個人,華兒呢,還有其他奴婢呢?
Mrs.Jin: Once I heard they shouted fire, I told Hua and others to leave. I like to stay here waiting for you and your dad. Where is your dad?
金夫人:我聽得外面起火,就叫華兒她們先走了,我要留在這等你和你爹,你爹呢?
Ling:(all tears) Dad...dad is....
靈:(淚流滿面)爹...爹他.....
Shin:(walks forward) Mr.Jin is...He has gone....
心:(走向前)金老爺他...他已不幸逝世了....
Mrs.Jin rounded her eyes and released Ling. She backs off a few steps and Ling goes to support her right away.
金夫人瞪大眼放開了金靈,後退數步,金靈馬上去扶著她
Ling:(worried face) Mom...mom don’t be desperate...You still have me.
靈:(憂色)娘...娘您別傷心...還有靈兒阿
This moment, the voice of servant hurried them. They say the fire is barely controllable now and there are burning things everywhere in the fort so Mrs.Jin and others should evacuate here as soon as possilble. Mrs.Jin woodens for a while then looks at Shin unexpectedly.
此時外邊傳來家人催促之聲,說是火頭一時難以熄滅,整座無銀堡都已被捲入火勢,要金夫人等速速避難,金夫人呆了一會,突然望著童心
Mrs.Jin: This gentleman is...?
金夫人:這位是....?
Ling:His name is Tung Shin. He is the guard Dad hired not long ago.(sees Mrs.Jin’s look is changed so explains promptly) Mom, although he actually kidnapped me once, that’s for luring the scum away from here. He...he is not bad...
靈:他叫童心,就是爹前陣子雇的護院,(見金夫人臉色一變,連忙解釋)娘,他雖然擄過我,但卻是為了把侵入我們家的惡人引開,他...他不是壞人....
Mrs.Jin glances the Frozen-cyan, which is held by Shin then lowers her sight. She softly pushes Ling’s hand away and sits on the bed. Ling goes to hold her arm soon.
金夫人瞧了一眼童心手上的凝碧劍,垂下眼去,輕輕推開金靈的手,坐到了床上,金靈馬上又過去拉住她的手臂
Ling:(anxiously) Mom, what are you still thinking about? Let’s leave here first!
靈:(急)娘,您還在想什麼?趕快離開這再說吧!
Mrs.Jin slowly stretch her left hand under the pillow and abruptly pushes Ling away with her right hand. With a swish, three spearhead are shot out from the wall opposite bed and one of them inserts into Mrs.Jin’s chest!!
金夫人左手緩緩伸進枕頭下,右手突然猛力推開金靈,只聽得颼的一響,三支矛頭由對面牆中射岀,其中一支插進了金夫人胸口!!
Ling is shocked and sad. She pushes Shin’s supporting hand away forcefully and runs to her mother. She holds Mrs.Jin tightly but doesn’t dare to pull the spearhead out.
金靈又驚又悲,用力推開童心扶住她的手,奔到母親身邊抱著她,但不敢拔出矛頭
Ling:(wailing) Mom, why do you do this?! There is still lots of money in many banks which belongs to us. We can live away from Wu-yin fort!
靈:(痛哭)娘!您為什麼要這樣!!無銀堡還有很多財產在各地錢莊,我們離開無銀堡還是可以生活的阿!
Mrs.Jin:(bitterly smiles with tears) They say ”like a creeping plant found its support”...that means a creeping plant could not survive without support...Mr.Jin and Wu-yin fort are indeed my support...Now, Mr.Jin’s gone and most of the fort is ruined...I...I have lost my strength to live...Ling, you’re a grown lady now. Try to take care of yourself and leave the fort...Do...don’t be confined here for all your life like me...
金夫人:(含淚苦笑)人言絲蘿得托喬木...也就是說絲蘿若無喬木,是無法生存的...老爺...和無銀堡,就是我的喬木...如今老爺走了,無銀堡亦被毀大半...我...我已無生存之力了...靈兒...你長大了,好好照顧你自己吧,離開無銀堡,別...別再跟娘一樣,困守此處一生....
Ling:(cries) No!! Mom.......!!
靈:(哭叫)不要!!娘........!!
Mrs.Jin:(weak voice) Hiding...attracts greed...your father hides from public and act carefully...all his life...yet can’t escape from this disaster....in the end...(took her last breath)
金夫人:(微弱的聲音)此地無銀...三百兩....你爹...韜光養晦...小心翼翼...的過了一輩子...終究...難逃此禍.....(嚥了氣)
Ling cries so hard that her sound become hoarse. She cannot think anything anymore while Shin unexpectly walks to them and carries Mrs.Jin’s body up.
金靈哭號到連嗓子都啞了,她腦中一片空白,完全無法思考其他事,童心卻突然走向前,把金夫人的屍身抱了起來
Ling:(stares Shin) What are you doing?
靈:(瞪著童心)你幹麻?
Shin:(seriously) Miss Ling, we have to leave here right now. Mr.Jin’s body is still in the grand hall!
心:(正色)靈姑娘,我們必須立刻離開此處,金老爺的遺體還在大廳呢!
Ling thinks that is right and goes back to the hall with Shin at once. Fortunately, for the wind direction, the fire hasn’t surrounded the hall yet. Shin lets two strong servant who are called on the way here move Mr.Jin’s body with him. They run all the way to the outside of main gate. At this time, there have been many people in neighborhood come to help fire fighting but they just dare to pour water from far place since they’ve all heard about the formidable defensive mechanism here. And, some of them even just watch and discuss. In all these moving and talking crowd, Ling is just expressionlessly looking at her parent’s bodies while Shin is checking Mr.Jin’s body once more. He finds some wound is caused by sword—that means Po participated in torture, too. Shin can’t help uttering a long sigh with sad face then Ling suddenly jumps up and shouts.
金靈一想沒錯,馬上跟著童心往大廳奔回去,還好因為風向,火勢一時未圍住大廳,童心讓路上叫來的兩個健僕搬著金老爺屍體,一直跑到了無銀堡大門外,此時已有很多附近民眾趕來幫忙救火,可是他們都聽過堡內機關的厲害,只敢在外圍潑點水,也有些只是旁觀議論,而在這陣吵雜和晃動的人影中,金靈只是呆呆的看著父母的遺體,童心此時仔細觀察了一下金老爺的傷,發現有些傷是劍造成的,顯然刑求逼供,童博也有份,他不禁臉色哀痛的長嘆一聲,金靈則突然跳起來大吼
Ling:(rounded her eyes, shouting and points to far place) Go away!! Get lost!! Vanish from Wu-yin fort!! No one is good in your family!!
靈:(瞪大眼哭叫,指著遠處)滾!!你滾!!離開無銀堡!!你們姓童的,沒有一個好東西!!
Shin puts the Frozen-cyan in front of her quietly then slowly walks away.
Xue finally found Doug, who is walking spiritlessly, around the south side of Yan-hui peak and goes to hold her in no time.
天雪在雁迴峰南側山腳附近,好不容易找到了茫然走著的豆豆,連忙過去拉住她
Xue:Doug, what happened? I couldn’t find you at the place we appointed and thought you may have a accident!
雪:豆豆,怎麼啦,我在約定的地方找不到你,還以為你出了事呢!
Doug:(murmuring) I did have a accident. Stupid me! I helped him get the stone and helped him out. Stupid me.....
豆:(喃喃)我是出了事,我這個笨蛋,我幫他拿到了東西,還幫他出來,我這個笨蛋......
Xue:(frowns) Doug...(pulls her to sit down on a rock) Doug, take a rest and dirnk some water. Let’s talk later.
雪:(皺眉)豆豆...(拉著她坐在一塊石上)豆豆,休息一下喝口水,慢慢說
Doug, with dull face, eats and drinks some food Xue give her then begin to narrate what happened in the Ice Crystal palace like talking to herself. After listening to that, Xue holds Doug’s shoulder and comforts her for quite a while and finally makes Doug take back some spirit. They, then, take the road back to the Long-Ze manor. However, just after they crossed the canal, Xue hears a eagle squeal from the sky so she looks upward for a moment. Then, she takes out a thick leather wristlet with inlaid metal design and ties it to her right wrist. Later, Xue raises her right arm and swings it. That eagle flies down and stops on the wristlet.
豆豆神色呆滯的吃喝了一點天雪給她的東西,就開始自言自語似的述說在冰晶神宮發生的事,天雪聽完後,摟著豆豆肩膀安慰了她好一會,總算讓豆豆回了點神,兩人啟程回龍澤山莊,不料剛過運河,天雪便聽到天空一聲鷹唳,她抬頭望了一眼,從懷裏取出一塊上有金屬鑲嵌花紋的厚革護腕綁在手上,向天空揮舞了幾下,那鷹就飛了下來,停在護腕上
Xue:(glances the piece of cloth tied on eagle’s leg then turns to Doug) Doug, Zen is not far from us. Let’s go find him!
雪:(看了一眼鷹腳上綁的布,轉頭向著豆豆)豆豆,童戰也來了,我們去跟他會合吧!
Doug nods then Xue sends out the eagle again. They track it on the ground by riding. After an hour, they meet Zen at a little tavern outside a town. Xue briefly tells Zen what happened so Zen looks at Doug for a while then lowers his head with a sigh.
豆豆點點頭,天雪便把鷹又放出去,兩人策馬跟著,半個時辰後就在一市鎮外的小客店見到了童戰,天雪簡要的把事情說了一遍,童戰望了豆豆一眼,低頭嘆了口氣
Zen:Three masters had stayed in the hidden land sent three weapons they made out and transmitted the legend which uncle Men had told Shin to me.(Sighs again) After that, I set off right away and arrived here yet I still hope these weapon are not necessary...(sees Xue) It seems we have to use them.

They see servants are fighting fire in a flurry all the way. There are originally many fire extinguishing mechanism in Wu-yin fort but they couldn’t be activated for most chief servant is paralyzed. Furthermore, some unsealed flame-shooting mechanisms also worsen the fire. Shin feels worried very much but is not able to help. Fortunately, for sparing time, Feng hasn’t intruded the main bedrooms and just ordered servants to turn off the defensive mechanism here. So, there is still someone could operate the fire extinguishing to keep here from burning. Ling rushes into her mother’s bedrooom directly and sees Mrs.Jin sits beside the table alone. As Mrs.Jin finds Ling, she runs to her and holds her.
金靈呆了片刻,突然放下金老爺,向內進疾衝而去,童心拿著凝碧劍緊跟在後,一路上只見到家丁們慌亂地救火,本來無銀堡有許多救火用的機關,但因大部分院落的主管家人都被打傷,金老爺又不在,以致不但救火機關無法完全啟動,一些未能封閉的火焰機關更助長了火勢,童心眉頭深鎖卻是愛莫能助,幸好飛天鳳為了省時,只是叫人止了主內堂防衛機關,並未侵入,因此這裏的救火機關尚有人能啟動,未遭火焚,金靈直衝而入,到了母親居室,只見金夫人獨自坐在桌旁,她一回頭見到金靈,立刻迎向前抱住了她
Mrs.Jin:(sobbing) Ling...Ling...It’s blessed that you’re alright.
金夫人:(泣)靈兒....靈兒....你沒事就好
Ling:(holds mother and is weeping) Mom...how come are you alone? Where are Hua? And other servant-girls?
靈:(抱著母親流淚)娘......怎麼只有您一個人,華兒呢,還有其他奴婢呢?
Mrs.Jin: Once I heard they shouted fire, I told Hua and others to leave. I like to stay here waiting for you and your dad. Where is your dad?
金夫人:我聽得外面起火,就叫華兒她們先走了,我要留在這等你和你爹,你爹呢?
Ling:(all tears) Dad...dad is....
靈:(淚流滿面)爹...爹他.....
Shin:(walks forward) Mr.Jin is...He has gone....
心:(走向前)金老爺他...他已不幸逝世了....
Mrs.Jin rounded her eyes and released Ling. She backs off a few steps and Ling goes to support her right away.
金夫人瞪大眼放開了金靈,後退數步,金靈馬上去扶著她
Ling:(worried face) Mom...mom don’t be desperate...You still have me.
靈:(憂色)娘...娘您別傷心...還有靈兒阿
This moment, the voice of servant hurried them. They say the fire is barely controllable now and there are burning things everywhere in the fort so Mrs.Jin and others should evacuate here as soon as possilble. Mrs.Jin woodens for a while then looks at Shin unexpectedly.
此時外邊傳來家人催促之聲,說是火頭一時難以熄滅,整座無銀堡都已被捲入火勢,要金夫人等速速避難,金夫人呆了一會,突然望著童心
Mrs.Jin: This gentleman is...?
金夫人:這位是....?
Ling:His name is Tung Shin. He is the guard Dad hired not long ago.(sees Mrs.Jin’s look is changed so explains promptly) Mom, although he actually kidnapped me once, that’s for luring the scum away from here. He...he is not bad...
靈:他叫童心,就是爹前陣子雇的護院,(見金夫人臉色一變,連忙解釋)娘,他雖然擄過我,但卻是為了把侵入我們家的惡人引開,他...他不是壞人....
Mrs.Jin glances the Frozen-cyan, which is held by Shin then lowers her sight. She softly pushes Ling’s hand away and sits on the bed. Ling goes to hold her arm soon.
金夫人瞧了一眼童心手上的凝碧劍,垂下眼去,輕輕推開金靈的手,坐到了床上,金靈馬上又過去拉住她的手臂
Ling:(anxiously) Mom, what are you still thinking about? Let’s leave here first!
靈:(急)娘,您還在想什麼?趕快離開這再說吧!
Mrs.Jin slowly stretch her left hand under the pillow and abruptly pushes Ling away with her right hand. With a swish, three spearhead are shot out from the wall opposite bed and one of them inserts into Mrs.Jin’s chest!!
金夫人左手緩緩伸進枕頭下,右手突然猛力推開金靈,只聽得颼的一響,三支矛頭由對面牆中射岀,其中一支插進了金夫人胸口!!
Ling is shocked and sad. She pushes Shin’s supporting hand away forcefully and runs to her mother. She holds Mrs.Jin tightly but doesn’t dare to pull the spearhead out.
金靈又驚又悲,用力推開童心扶住她的手,奔到母親身邊抱著她,但不敢拔出矛頭
Ling:(wailing) Mom, why do you do this?! There is still lots of money in many banks which belongs to us. We can live away from Wu-yin fort!
靈:(痛哭)娘!您為什麼要這樣!!無銀堡還有很多財產在各地錢莊,我們離開無銀堡還是可以生活的阿!
Mrs.Jin:(bitterly smiles with tears) They say ”like a creeping plant found its support”...that means a creeping plant could not survive without support...Mr.Jin and Wu-yin fort are indeed my support...Now, Mr.Jin’s gone and most of the fort is ruined...I...I have lost my strength to live...Ling, you’re a grown lady now. Try to take care of yourself and leave the fort...Do...don’t be confined here for all your life like me...
金夫人:(含淚苦笑)人言絲蘿得托喬木...也就是說絲蘿若無喬木,是無法生存的...老爺...和無銀堡,就是我的喬木...如今老爺走了,無銀堡亦被毀大半...我...我已無生存之力了...靈兒...你長大了,好好照顧你自己吧,離開無銀堡,別...別再跟娘一樣,困守此處一生....
Ling:(cries) No!! Mom.......!!
靈:(哭叫)不要!!娘........!!
Mrs.Jin:(weak voice) Hiding...attracts greed...your father hides from public and act carefully...all his life...yet can’t escape from this disaster....in the end...(took her last breath)
金夫人:(微弱的聲音)此地無銀...三百兩....你爹...韜光養晦...小心翼翼...的過了一輩子...終究...難逃此禍.....(嚥了氣)
Ling cries so hard that her sound become hoarse. She cannot think anything anymore while Shin unexpectly walks to them and carries Mrs.Jin’s body up.
金靈哭號到連嗓子都啞了,她腦中一片空白,完全無法思考其他事,童心卻突然走向前,把金夫人的屍身抱了起來
Ling:(stares Shin) What are you doing?
靈:(瞪著童心)你幹麻?
Shin:(seriously) Miss Ling, we have to leave here right now. Mr.Jin’s body is still in the grand hall!
心:(正色)靈姑娘,我們必須立刻離開此處,金老爺的遺體還在大廳呢!
Ling thinks that is right and goes back to the hall with Shin at once. Fortunately, for the wind direction, the fire hasn’t surrounded the hall yet. Shin lets two strong servant who are called on the way here move Mr.Jin’s body with him. They run all the way to the outside of main gate. At this time, there have been many people in neighborhood come to help fire fighting but they just dare to pour water from far place since they’ve all heard about the formidable defensive mechanism here. And, some of them even just watch and discuss. In all these moving and talking crowd, Ling is just expressionlessly looking at her parent’s bodies while Shin is checking Mr.Jin’s body once more. He finds some wound is caused by sword—that means Po participated in torture, too. Shin can’t help uttering a long sigh with sad face then Ling suddenly jumps up and shouts.
金靈一想沒錯,馬上跟著童心往大廳奔回去,還好因為風向,火勢一時未圍住大廳,童心讓路上叫來的兩個健僕搬著金老爺屍體,一直跑到了無銀堡大門外,此時已有很多附近民眾趕來幫忙救火,可是他們都聽過堡內機關的厲害,只敢在外圍潑點水,也有些只是旁觀議論,而在這陣吵雜和晃動的人影中,金靈只是呆呆的看著父母的遺體,童心此時仔細觀察了一下金老爺的傷,發現有些傷是劍造成的,顯然刑求逼供,童博也有份,他不禁臉色哀痛的長嘆一聲,金靈則突然跳起來大吼
Ling:(rounded her eyes, shouting and points to far place) Go away!! Get lost!! Vanish from Wu-yin fort!! No one is good in your family!!
靈:(瞪大眼哭叫,指著遠處)滾!!你滾!!離開無銀堡!!你們姓童的,沒有一個好東西!!
Shin puts the Frozen-cyan in front of her quietly then slowly walks away.
童心默默的把凝碧劍放在她面前,緩緩地走開
Xue finally found Doug, who is walking spiritlessly, around the south side of Yan-hui peak and goes to hold her in no time.
天雪在雁迴峰南側山腳附近,好不容易找到了茫然走著的豆豆,連忙過去拉住她
Xue:Doug, what happened? I couldn’t find you at the place we appointed and thought you may have a accident!
雪:豆豆,怎麼啦,我在約定的地方找不到你,還以為你出了事呢!
Doug:(murmuring) I did have a accident. Stupid me! I helped him get the stone and helped him out. Stupid me.....
豆:(喃喃)我是出了事,我這個笨蛋,我幫他拿到了東西,還幫他出來,我這個笨蛋......
Xue:(frowns) Doug...(pulls her to sit down on a rock) Doug, take a rest and dirnk some water. Let’s talk later.
雪:(皺眉)豆豆...(拉著她坐在一塊石上)豆豆,休息一下喝口水,慢慢說
Doug, with dull face, eats and drinks some food Xue give her then begin to narrate what happened in the Ice Crystal palace like talking to herself. After listening to that, Xue holds Doug’s shoulder and comforts her for quite a while and finally makes Doug take back some spirit. They, then, take the road back to the Long-Ze manor. However, just after they crossed the canal, Xue hears a eagle squeal from the sky so she looks upward for a moment. Then, she takes out a thick leather wristlet with inlaid metal design and ties it to her right wrist. Later, Xue raises her right arm and swings it. That eagle flies down and stops on the wristlet.
豆豆神色呆滯的吃喝了一點天雪給她的東西,就開始自言自語似的述說在冰晶神宮發生的事,天雪聽完後,摟著豆豆肩膀安慰了她好一會,總算讓豆豆回了點神,兩人啟程回龍澤山莊,不料剛過運河,天雪便聽到天空一聲鷹唳,她抬頭望了一眼,從懷裏取出一塊上有金屬鑲嵌花紋的厚革護腕綁在手上,向天空揮舞了幾下,那鷹就飛了下來,停在護腕上
Xue:(glances the piece of cloth tied on eagle’s leg then turns to Doug) Doug, Zen is not far from us. Let’s go find him!
雪:(看了一眼鷹腳上綁的布,轉頭向著豆豆)豆豆,童戰也來了,我們去跟他會合吧!
Doug nods then Xue sends out the eagle again. They track it on the ground by riding. After an hour, they meet Zen at a little tavern outside a town. Xue briefly tells Zen what happened so Zen looks at Doug for a while then lowers his head with a sigh.
豆豆點點頭,天雪便把鷹又放出去,兩人策馬跟著,半個時辰後就在一市鎮外的小客店見到了童戰,天雪簡要的把事情說了一遍,童戰望了豆豆一眼,低頭嘆了口氣
Zen:Three masters had stayed in the hidden land sent three weapons they made out and transmitted the legend which uncle Men had told Shin to me.(Sighs again) After that, I set off right away and arrived here yet I still hope these weapon are not necessary...(sees Xue) It seems we have to use them.
