Episode 16 – The magic thunder striking
第十六回--法雷經天
Shin carries Ling on his back and runs 5 miles away then slows down. At this time, Ling knocks him heavily.
童心背著金靈,直奔岀五里之外,才放慢了腳步,此時他背上的金靈重重的槌了他一下
Ling:(angrily) You one of Tungs, Put me down!
靈:(怒)你這個姓童的,放我下來!
Shin let her get down. She draws back for several steps at once and points Shin with her sword.
童心把她放下來,她立刻退了幾步,用劍對著童心
Ling:(with a stern voice) Don’t think your saving me could make up for my parents’s life your elder brother owes me! You can kill me now or let me carry on my revenge!
靈:(厲聲)不要以為你救了我,你大哥害死我爹娘這筆帳就可以算了!你要麼殺了我,要麼放我繼續去報仇!
Shin:(talks slowly) I don’t want you to kill anybody then how could I kill you? Nevertheless, I can’t let you continue this hopeless revenge, either. (steps forward) You saw that formidable guy who heads all these conspiracies behind the scenes. Even I could not match him. If you insist your revenge, you will lose your life in vain.(looks at her sincerely) Now your parents’ve died. You are the continuation of their life. Do you really think they like you to lose your life for revenge?
心:(緩緩的說)我不願你去殺任何人,又怎麼會殺你?但是我也不能放你去報這個無望的仇,(上前一步)你見識到那個幕後主使的厲害了,連我都不是他對手,你再蠻幹只有白白送命(誠摯地望著她)你爹娘已故,你是他們生命的延續,難道他們會希望你為報仇而死?
Ling keeps silent while Shin continues
金靈沉默了一會,童心則繼續說
I will keep not only you from rash revenging but other people from it. Frankly, I’ve already checked several groups of people who tended to pursue elder brother.
心:我不但不會讓你再去莽撞報仇,也不會讓其他人去,老實說,自你招親以來,我已攔下好幾波要去追殺大哥的人馬
Ling:(talks angrily with rounded eyes) What? No wonder I couldn’t get any response for these two days! (wields her sword) Fine! You want to be on your elder brother’s side but not kill me. Then, come abolish my martial art or imprison me! Otherwise I will keep revenging as long as I live. Even there is only I, myself, remain!!
靈:(瞪眼怒道)什麼?難怪這兩天一點音訊也沒有!(一揮劍)好!你要幫你大哥,又不想殺我,那你來廢了我武功!把我關起來吧!不然只要我有一口氣在!就算只剩我一個人,我也要報仇!!
Shin:(frowns) Miss Ling, why are you so stubborn? Think about that calmly. If they could not even beat me, how could they win the advantage over elder brother? Not to mention there is still that behind-the-scene guy. Blind revenge will make who cares for you sorrow and who hates you laugh!
心:(皺眉)靈姑娘,你何苦如此固執?你靜下心來想想,如果他們連我都打不過,怎會是大哥的對手?再加上那個幕後主使的居心叵測,盲目的報仇,只有讓親者痛,仇者快!
Ling blinks and her chest undulates rapidly. Later, she rushes to Shin abruptly.
金靈眨著眼,胸口急速起伏著,不久她突然直衝到童心面前
Ling: I believe you are not in company with your elder brother. You, and the others I met last time in that Long-Ze manor should have the capability to cope with your elder brother. He showed no mercy to you so you will try to eliminate him, right?
靈:我相信你不是跟你大哥一夥的,你,還有那些上次我在那個什麼龍澤山莊遇見的人,應該是有能力對付你大哥的,他對你們也毫不容情,你們會想辦法除掉他,是不是?
Shin:(with peaceful look) No one of us hoped to kill Elder brother. Our wish is rescuing him. No matter you believe it or not, Elder brother used to be nice and was the mighty force, which guarded the world and Tungs. Although many things are still in mist now, I have a strong feeling that elder brother is indispensable to fight that behind-the-scene guy!
心:(平靜的表情)我們沒有一個想殺死大哥,只想救他,不管你相不相信,他本來是溫柔善良,守護著世間和童氏一族的強大力量,雖然現在一切還如同在迷霧之中,但我有一種強烈感覺,要對抗那個幕後主使,是不能沒有大哥的!
Ling:(smile sardonically) So? That means it’s not a problem for him to kill as many people as he wish and he doesn’t have to pay back for whoever he killed before?
靈:(冷笑)喔?那就是說在他清醒之前,殺多少人都無所謂,而且也不用為之前殺的人,付出代價囉?
Shin:(seriously) Of course not! Sec. brother, Sir Yin Zhong and I are all doing our best to stop him from more killing. Once we can awaken him and eradicate that instigator’s conspiracy, isn’t it the best way of elder brother’s expiation?(sincere tone) Miss Ling, even if you kill him, your parents won’t return to live again.
心:(正色)當然不是!我,二哥,尹二爺等人,都在盡力設法阻止他再造殺孽,如果能讓大哥清醒,破除那個主使者的奸謀,不才是大哥最好的贖罪方式? (懇切的語氣)靈姑娘,就算你殺了他,你爹娘也活不轉來了
Ling: What is the situation gonna be as all of you cannot rescue him eventually?
靈:那如果你們怎樣都救不了他呢?
Shin:(exhales) Then, we are going to try to imprison him; even abolish his martail art if necessary. After that, we will try to check that instigator for our life!
心:(吁口氣)那我們會設法關住他,甚至必要時,廢了他武功,然後不惜以生命作代價,阻止那幕後主使者!
Ling:(closes her eyes awhile then opens them, with deep voice) I want to revenge because I don’t know what else I can do and what I am living for. Now I have decided. I want to keep with you!!(Shin is a little surprised but Ling’s expression is serious) I like to see it with my own eyes that whether he will regain his conscience and is so great and nice like what you said or not. If not, I am gonna restart my revenge!!
靈:(閉上眼一會又睜開,沉聲)我要報仇,是因為我不知道我還能作什麼,活著為什麼,現在我決定了,我要跟著你!!(童心微驚,金靈卻是一臉認真)我要親眼看看,他是否真能清醒,清醒後是不是像你說的那麼善良偉大!如果不是,我就還要報仇!!
Shin:(severe countenance) Miss Ling, forgive my honest opinion, your martial art is not good enough and has no other specialty as well. It’s not proper for you to step in this. I still hope you to keep low profile and away from the trouble. That’s what your parent wish...
心:(正色)靈姑娘,我必須直言,你武藝不夠,又無其他專才,並不適宜介入此事,我還是希望你深居簡出,遠離是非,這才是你爹娘....
Ling:(interrupt Shin) Don’t say anymore! My father hid for all his life. What’s his consequence? My mother suicided right after his death just for her whole life is only Wu-yin fort! I decide to live for myself.(with tears in her eyes) Even if no one loves me, I will live without regret!(stares Shin) If you don’t let me be with you, I will continue my revenge by my method. If you imprison me, I will starve myself to death! (resolute look) I will accomplish what I said. If you don’t believe, try me!
靈:(打斷童心之言)不用再多說!我爹躲了一輩子,結果如何?爹死了娘就活不成,正是因為我娘一生只知道無銀堡!我決定要為自己活著,(眼泛淚光)即使沒人疼我愛我,我要過的無怨無悔!(瞪著童心)你若不讓我跟,我就繼續用自己的方式報仇,你若是關住我,我就絕食而死!(堅定的神色)我說到做到,你如果不信,可以試試!
Shin feels awkward for that and watches her awhile. Finally he sighs.
童心為難地看著她,最後嘆了口氣
Shin: You have to promise that you won’t act just at will, won’t start any fight rashly and won’t kill anyone at pleasure!
心:你要答應我,不可以擅自行動,不可以輕易岀手,還有,不可隨意殺人!
Ling:(nods) That’s a deal!
靈:(點頭)好!

After Doug and Xue arrived Lin-Hai city, they haven’t met Zhong, though. They cannot but stay in at a tavern with iron-gaurds, who are led by Tie Lan and arrived later than they did. However, about the time when Doug and Xue tend to sleep, Zhong and Shin unexpectedly appear.
豆豆和天雪到了臨海城,卻沒見到尹仲,她們只好和隨後趕來的鐵嵐及鐵衛隊一起先投店,到得這晚豆雪都打算要就寢之時,尹仲和童心卻突然出現了
The thing is that Zhong followed Mo Tien till he crossed the canal then waited near the ford. He didn’t find Mo again but saw Shin and Ling, who is heading north,instead. After listening to Shin’s experience of fighting Mo, Zhong thought they better go back to Lin-Hai city to get the Hades sword first. Therefore, they came togather. Right now, they and Tie Lan are all in Doug and Xue’s room.
原來尹仲一直跟著莫天,直到莫天度過運河,他便守在運河渡口附近,不料沒等到莫天卻見到了北上的心靈二人,聽了童心跟莫天交手的描述,尹仲認為還是回臨海城合力先拿到幽冥劍再說,他們便結伴過來,此時他們三人和鐵嵐齊聚在豆雪房間裡
Xue: Sec. Uncle, so, you expect that Mo Tien must send Elder brother here?
雪:二叔,您是認為那個叫莫天的必會派大哥來此囉,?
Zhong:(nods) And, he may go to get the Hades sword while Tung Po is fighting us so we have to deal with them respectively.(looks at Shin) Shin, I understand you hardly match Po by yourself, you are able to hold him for a while, though. At same time, let Miss Jin try to chase Fei Tien-Feng away.
仲:(點頭)而且趁童博敵住我們的時候,他很可能就繞去拿幽冥劍,所以我們必須分頭對付他們,(望向童心)童心,我知道你一個人不是童博對手,但你總能拖住他一會,同時讓金姑娘設法趕走飛天鳳
Ling:(slightly angry) Chase away? She is the one who killed my father. I should kill her!!
靈:(微怒)趕走?她是直接殺死我爹的人,我該殺了她!!
Shin:(deep voice) Miss Ling, do you forget your words?(Ling turns her head away) In fact, as Fei Tien-Feng is so sly and experienced, I am afraid that you can’t cope with her! In the event that you can’t guarantee you will just chase her away and take care yourself well, I am definitely going to lock you up. You won’t starve to death in two days!
心:(沉聲)靈姑娘,你忘記答應過什麼了嗎?(金靈別過頭)其實飛天鳳狡猾之極,歷練豐富,我還怕你鬥不過她呢!如果你不能保證以驅走她為優先,照顧好自己,我就真的關住你,反正一兩天你也餓不死!
Ling furls her lips tightly and does not talk anymore. Then, Zhong smiles and continues
金靈抿著嘴不再出聲,尹仲笑了笑繼續說
Zhong: Tie Lan, You lead your men rage up to the mountain from the front. Use giving vent to my indignation as a excuse and persist in talking with the highest rank guy of them. It’s alright to be a little unreasonable. What counts is attracting their attention to the front.
仲:鐵嵐,你領著鐵衛由正面鬧上山,以為我岀氣為理由,堅持請他們輩分最高的人出來說話,無理取鬧點也無妨,重要的是把他們注意力吸引在前面
Tie Lan:(with a little awkward look) Bu...but, Sir Zhong, it is not the style of Yu-Jian manor...won...won’t master blame me? Furthermore, I...I am really not good at troubling people...
鐵嵐:(有點為難的表情)可...可是二爺,這不是御劍山莊的作風...莊主...不會怪責嗎? 還有屬下...實在不善無理取鬧....
Zhong:(smiles) Tie Lan, Adapting the behaviors to the situation is just the style of a general. Did master tell you to do all you can to help me?(Lan nods) That’s it. Only if you keep this in mind: Lady Xue and Doug’s success mostly depends on your performance, you’ll act well.
仲:(微笑)鐵嵐,因時制宜才是大將之風,莊主可有吩咐你盡力幫我?(鐵嵐點頭)這就行了,你只須想到,小姐和豆豆姑娘行事之成敗,有很大部分取決於你的表現,你就會作的出來了
Doug:(slightly surprised) Xue and I? What are we supposed to do?
豆:(微訝)我跟天雪?我們要做什麼?
Zhong:(smiles) Do your old job! Supposing that things turn out to be as my expect, the boss here should be that one with rusty spots on his nose. Miss Jin, do you remember him?(Ling nods) He must guard the Hades sword personally. I’ll try to find him and lure him away so you can steal the sword out.
仲:(笑)作你的老本行囉,如果我所料不錯,這裡的主要人物該是那個鼻有銹斑之人,金姑娘,你還記得嗎?(金靈點頭)他應會親自鎮守幽冥劍,我會設法找到他,把他調開,以便你們偷出幽冥劍
Doug and Xue look each other for a second and both nod. Then, Xue suddenly remember a matter to do.
豆豆和天雪互望了一眼,都點了點頭,之後天雪突然省起一事
Xue: Oh! Yes, Shin, Zen wanted me to hand you one thing(walks out for a while then returns with a sword) Shin, it is the weapon Masters made for you—the Thunder sword.
雪:對了童心,童戰要我交給你一樣東西(走出房一會,拿著一把劍進來)童心,這是長老們專門作給你的武器—法雷劍
Shin takes over this all-black sword and observes it. It looks fair and has not been edged yet. It might just like a teacher’s pointer while using it as a weapon. However, when he strokes its blade with his finger, a spark occurs and shocks his finger away.
童心接過這把通體黝黑的劍,仔細打量了一下,這劍看來普通,而且還沒有開鋒,用來對敵只怕跟私塾先生的教鞭差不多,可是當他伸手撫摸著劍刃時,卻突然火花一閃,把他的手指震開
Xue:Masters said that they blended a kind of mineral named “mica” into the sword and made it very tend to attract the thunder energy around. While you fill the sword with your sorcery energy, the energy will become its cutting edge. The strength of the Thunder sword is managed all by your will.
雪:長老說,這劍裏混了一種叫”雲母”的礦石,極易吸引四周之雷氣,你以法術之力灌入此劍,就是它的劍鋒,此劍強弱,完全在你一心
Shin nods slightly. Just after he joined the Master society, Master Skywalker told him that his specialty is in thunder sorcery. If he reaches some level later, the society will give him a name as “Master Thunder”. At present, this Thunder sword is certainly a weapon fits him most.
童心微微點頭,在他初入長老會時,天行長老就跟他說過他的資質在於雷系法術,等修練到一個地步,就要給他個”雷長老”的封號的,如今這支法雷劍,的確是最適合他的武器了
Zhong: Ok! Since everybody has known their part, let’s go rest promptly. Tomorrow will be a important day!
仲:好,既然大家都了解了該怎麼作,就趕快各自去休息吧,明日將會是重要的一天!

Next afternoon, Zhong and the others divide into three parts and go up to the mountain. One part of them is iron-guards led by Tie Lan. They are traveling along the mountain path with excited attitude and, just as expected, are stopped by Wan-Ren guards. Tie Lan requests their boss to meet him with mean voice. They don’t agree then Lan beats several people of them and rushes forward without hesitation. Many people are sent put from several hidden sentry posts to intercept Lan while Shin and Ling pass them with concealing sorcery and are not being noticed.
第二日午後,尹仲等人分成三路上山,鐵嵐領著鐵衛,沿小徑聲勢洶洶的上去,果然不久就被萬刃守衛攔住,鐵嵐大吼大叫的要他們頭兒出來說話,他們不允,鐵嵐便岀手打傷數人,一路衝上山,沿路好幾個祕哨連忙調人攔截,卻沒發現童心和金靈兩人已用氣壁隱身之術從他們身邊過去了
Zu-Rong palace is not very grandiose. If there were not a three-storey tower and several two-storey buildings, it would just like a mountain villa. The only special thing of it is that some steam transpires from nowhere behind the palace. As Shin and Ling reach the front gate, they just glance the steamy place for a while then hide nearby without entering the palace. Ling sees many people dash out from the palace and go down the mountain. She feels a little worried because those people apparently intend to cope with Tie Lan. While Ling is trying to talk with Shin, She find Shin is doing something with closed eyes. Later, just when she is about to push him, Shin unexpectly opens his eyes.
祝融宮並不宏偉,如果不是有個三層塔樓和幾棟兩層建築,只如一個山中別院一般,唯一特別的是宮後山中有著氤氳蒸氣,不知是什麼所在,童心和金靈來到門前,望了後山一眼,並不進去,只是躲在附近,金靈看著宮中不少人奔下山,顯然是去對付鐵嵐等人,有點擔憂,想問問童心,卻見童心閉著眼,不知在幹啥,過了一會,正當金靈想伸手推他時,他卻突然睜了眼
Shin:Here they come!(looks at eastside of the palace) There! (looks back to Ling) Miss Ling, don’t forget your promise. We just come here to hinder them.
心:他們來了!(望著祝融宮東側)就在那裡!(回頭望靈)靈姑娘,別忘了你的承諾,我們是來攔住他們的
Ling:(watches him with unpleased look) I know! I won’t kill her today!
靈:(沉臉望他)我知道了!
